Mama Kat's prompt for the week.
1.) 10 Reasons why you’re better off without him….or her….or it.
There are ten reasons why I'm better off without him. I just need to find them.
1. He lives forever away. He moved away 2 -3 years ago and I've only seen Him twice since.
2. He's not into being in a committed relationship. I couldn't have a dispassionate relationship with him.
3. I'm married. I think that's what we're still calling it...
4. There's too much tension between us when we hang out. It's almost stressful.
5. We're on completely different planes of the universe. He's almost too perfect to be true.
6. We have a professional life together.
7. I try not to date thespians. They're a little too dramatic.
(Sorry! xD )
8. I want to move away from this continent some day. He's set with staying here.
Okay, almost 10. Good enough right?

ReplyDeleteBeen there too! I was in a long distance off and on relationship for almost 5 years and things are much better now with my current sweetie!

That is a perfect amount of reasons.

Sometimes the things we think would be so perfect and wonderful aren't as wonderful as we would think. My friend Ben told me this in college and it has always been a thought in my mind when things don't go my way. "Rejection is God's protection."

ReplyDeleteIt sounds so difficult to try and maintain such a relationship. My guess is that some people are good at long distant relationships and others are not. At least you have a list to know where things stand.
The best of skill in working this out for the best,
life is too short for our closest relationships to require THAT much work....a little work maybe, but stressful...no way! Keep looking, there are lots of us out there!
